What is this new revelation that has been given to Paul [v3]? To who else was this revelation given [v5]?
Read 1 Peter 1:10-12. Did the angels have this revelation of the gospel? What will be the stutues of redeemed human compared to the angels [1 Corinthians 6:3]?
Why is it such a big deal for Paul that gentiles are feloow heirs of the promises made to God’s elect people Israel [vv6-7]? Paul keeps making this point throught the letter and his other letters.
Should our priveleged position make us proud [v8]? What is our responsibility now that we have received the gospel [v9]?
In v11 “the ages” refers to a huge amount of time. What does this tell us about God’s timing? What should we remember when it feels that God is doing nothing.
