Read Hebrews 11:8. Abraham did not know where he was going? How well does this describe your calling of God to follow Jesus? How does your life compare with Israel’s wilderness wanderings? Be encouraged by 2 Corinthians 12:9-10!
Read Genesis 12:1. How was Abraham’s journey a journey of promise? How can you see your life as a journey of promise?

It has been said that faith means “letting go” and simply trusting in God. How does Abraham’s like an example to us? See Genesis 22:10-11.
If had been no Abraham, no Isaac, no Jacob, no patriarchs, no King David there would have been no Jesus. If there wasn’t you there might not be Jesus for someone else! How does this encourage you to live?
