Questions

God is compassionate, gracious, slow to anger and abounding with loyal love [Exodus 34:6]. Descibe each of these characteristics.
What does faithful mean [Exodus 34:6]?
Aaron and Hur held up the arms of Moses [Exodus 17:8-16]? What aspect of faithfulness does this show?
God promised Abraham that his descendants would outnumber that stars of the sky [Genesis 15:5-6]. How was God faithful to Abraham? How was Abraham faithful to God? Are Abraham’s descendants faithful? Is God faithful to Abraham’s descendants?
How is God’s covenant with David [2 Samuel 7:15-16] similar to that with Abraham? What does this show us about God? Are David’s descendants faithful? Is God faithful to David’s descendants? Why does the New Testament begin with a genealogy [Matthew 1:1-17]?
Read the passage again and note anything else that stands out or challenges you. Pray that the Holy Spirit would enable you to change and be more like Jesus and demonstrate the unity we have in him.
